Beadnell Beach, Northumberland - Backblip 16th May
Another sunny start. We walked from Beadnell to Low Newton, stopping off at the bird reserve to see the Arctic and Little Terns. The pub at Low Newton was heaving, so we had a drink and walked to High Newton, which was much quieter.
Walking back along the beach our ears were assaulted by the noise of the Terns as the males flew overhead with fish in their beaks, trying to attract a mate. Not being keen on raw fish I ignored them.
The extra is ............ well, extra.
