In the wild.

Wasn't sure whether to go for wild or wide Wednesday today.

I've had two short walks this morning. The first with Chris down to Goit Stock again as the Owlets were sighted in the branches of the nesting tree yesterday evening. We searched and searched but nothing was visible. We think mother owl flew nearby as we saw what looked like an owl in flight followed by the immediate cacophony of a blackbird's alarm call but no babies. We were surrounded by nature's wild bounty though, lots of wild flowers amongst the newly green trees. Pink and white campion, wild garlic, and this lovely cow parsley as well as some remaining bluebells.

Later I had another walk up to the dentist in the next village. The fields are full of meadow flowers awaiting summers first mow, see extra.

Quick lunch and then Pilates and an early evening visit to the pub to meet friends and son Alex later.
A much cooler and greyer day than yesterday but still quite a full one.
