Daffodil, dessicated
I backblipped a shadowy, slightly out of the box image of this poor neglected thing earlier.
I figured I should give it a second chance before it hits the bin. I love the texture of flowers as they fade away.
Here's a lovely quote from John Blakemore:
The daffodil, although it is a delightful flower, exhibits a stubborn rigidity of form; it lives and dies at attention. The tulip, however, is a flower of constant metamorphosis; it stretches towards the light and gestures to occupy the space.
