Alert and Scruffy

This Roe doe has a fawn in the woodland near here. She was feeding frantically, but was keeping an eye on everything. Her coat is shaggy as she has more on her mind at the moment than grooming! She will defend her youngster vigorously.
The temperature was 10 but a cool wind made it seem much colder.
