Winter is here

I don't usually work on a Wednesday and so can enjoy a good walk with my old collie dog, too far and she gets very stiff afterwards, just a stroll and she is a happy puppy all over again. What was special today was that we had had a slight fall of fresh snow, settling well over yesterdays frost. This Bracken was laden down with fresh crystals. Its an ordinary enough sight but one I wanted to capture. There is more snow forecast for tomorrow and we fear school may be closed on account of it. My youngest is waiting in eager anticipation!
