Watch the Birdie

So cold here today, yet the sun was shining all day!  A bitsa day - bits of this and that, including a GP appointment to discuss the BP monitor results, completing this week's Italian lesson and booking a week's holiday in County Durham during the summer:-)  Really looking forward to that!

The yellowhammers were back today after a long absence and I'm not sure if the main picture is of a female or a young one.  There are a couple of extras too to show the stronger colour of the male.  All were taken on full zoom from one end of the garden to the other, so not the best shots, but they are such pretty little birds:-)

PS  My husband cut the grass later so it isn't as scruffy as this any more:-)
