Barnhill Rock Garden

Why is it always cold and/or wet on the days my friend and I choose to go for a walk?  Today we intended to walk part of the Coastal Path from Broughty Ferry to Monifieth, but with a keen east wind blowing in our faces, it was not a pleasant experience.  

We got as far as the Barnhill Rock Garden (see Extra), where I took this picture of a Cistus or Rock Rose (I learned that from another blipper!), then turned round and walked back to the Glass Pavilion for a warming bowl of soup.

Also took a photo of some poppy buds, which I find rather disturbing so have added it as an extra so as not to offend your sensibilities:-)
