On The Doorstep

There's a step that leads up to a door that's always closed.  I don't know what's behind the door, but I do know this step is just the right size for me to sit or lie on, and it elevates me so I can more easily see what's going on outside the window nearby. 

A busy day of barking at gardeners.  I'm exhausted now, but at least I finally succeeded in scaring them away!
