Admiring Arthur's seat

We thought the Flumlet would enjoy Craigmillar Castle as there are lots of opportunities for climbing steps. It was so windy, blowing a gale through every opening and, although we did get to the top, with its fine views of Arthur's Seat, he did not enjoy the experience at all. We shall return in better weather.
We decided that Duddingston Loch might be more interesting and so it proved, with Canada Geese nearly as tall as himself, goslings (extra photo - eleven in this clutch), shepherded by attentive parents, besides ducks and swans. Then it was off home to play on the swing while Mr Flum cleaned the mess off our shoes.
