Book Cover

As Jerry and I were driving back towards Bellingham from Port Townsend yesterday, I received a phone call from Rachel, Executive Director of NSEA (Nooksack Salmon Enhancement Association). She apologized for the short notice, and invited me to attend the monthly board meeting that evening. One of the many photos I've taken at NSEA work parties was used for the front cover of this book. Co-author Gene Meyers was going to present a copy to NSEA at the meeting -- extra photo. 

It had already been a long day, and I would only have time for a rushed dinner before going out again, but that kind of thing doesn't happen every day in my life, so I went, and put on my best modest look at the appropriate time.
