Oughtibridge paper mill...

...which I pass on the way to Helen's for badminton every week. I have noticed how the vegetation has gradually overtaken the wall under the snapped downpipe, and lined it up as a potential DS blip on an occasion when I could stop the car safely on the main road. Today was the day, on the way back from Sheffield - it was miserable & wet again, so we went into town on the tram ( from the park & ride ) and enjoyed a productive little shopping excursion...
The mill closed in 2014, and is now a derelict site with unused industrial buildings and offices which are no longer fit for purpose. The plan is to develop the "enclosed glen" for housing... with amenities... watch this space!
