Dawn mist on the marshes

Watched the sun rise this morning - ah, how beautiful! The dew was heavy and the mist was snaking along on top of the reeds as the sun began to come up. I took these shots by the river, then went and sat by the pond where the sedge warblers were pipping about and playing tag - even got some shots of them, but the focus wasn't exactly crisp, shall we say? After which I came home and went back to bed for an hour..

It's another glorious day here. I do hope the sunshine is moving north as well for you all. Now I have a day in the office and a trip to the supermarket and all that kind of stuff called real life to deal with.
