Nothing beats Nanna's spagetti!!!
Everyone loves Wednesdays! Miss M has double art which she loves and sport , miss L also has art and playgroup and a full day of my attention,I also get to catch up with a few mum's at miss L playgroup for a quick cup of tea in between playing with our little ones. I realised today that this year will be my last in this playgroup setting, as miss L will be starting kinder next yr...I must admit I was pretty upset I have been coming here for 6 years straight with all the girls.
As a young mother, I found it really difficult to fit into a playgroup that was not judgemental I also was not married at the time of having miss M,and people were all but accepting. I think I went to about four classes then gave up no one would end up talking to me, I was really finding it hard being the first to have a baby in our friendship circle (most were off at uni) and Noone in the family had young kids either.
Ben and I got married and miss M was our flower girl she was 10 months old and was carried down the isle , safe to say there wasn't a dry eye in the church. Our photographer was an amazing lady who put me on to montessori playgroup.
I still remember that first day I walked into the room with miss M feeling nervous, I was greeted by the lovely faye the play group teacher who over the years has become someone to confine in, get advise off, swap ideas with, chat about things with, she is the go to person for so many. I have met some amazing people here strong friendships I have made with all different types of people, I finally found a place to belong. I know there will be tears when I leave here. I have seen people come and go then come back again, with new children, friendships regained and continued like there wasn't any absence. It wouldn't be fair not to mention the fabulous art teacher too Jane, who is just as equally important and who has seen all my three grow up over the last 6 years. At last I am surrounded by good, kind supportive people who I am proud to call my friends.
Anyways just some light reflecting there, we got home late tonight, eye appointment at the royal children's for Miss M. Nanna had made her famous spagetti kids eat bowl
