We've been surprised today by culture shock:
-it just doesn't feel like home here
-motorway traffic jams
-greenery and trees
-wealth
-being told off by a lady for crossing the street with children before the green man (I hadn't even registered it was a proper crossing).she should see road safety in kland!
-lots of bare flesh on show
-feeling cold and being rained on

Feel pretty emotional. Looking forward to being with church friends. Hard being in very nice surroundings all the while thinking of our dear friends back home living in hardship. I'll get used to it but not sure that I want to.
