Transforming
This green clearing in the woodland around Puck's Glen is suddenly transformed by the blue haze of the bluebells, the bursts of purple on the rhododendrons that have so far avoided the cull being carried out by the Forestry Commission, and the sudden punctuation of the bracken that is springing up, uncurling its fronds as the weather warms up. The brown of last year's vegetation will soon be gone under the dense green, the bluebells will fade and wither, and the rhododendrons will continue to grow as their flowers too fade, but for the moment this clearing is beautiful.
