Les toits de Chartres

After a torrential downpour and some thunder and lightning - part of the wider storm system that affected people in Paris and in Germany - we arrived in Chartres in hot sunshine. A tour of the cathedral interior and its magnificent stained glass windows was followed, for me, by a 300 step climb up one iof the sprires. The blip is of some of the roofs in the Centre Ville.
