Grotesque

I love the sense of humour of our ancient stonemasons! This grotesque is looking down at locals and visitors alike in Stratford-upon-Avon and is showing them exactly what he thinks of them.

I'm not sure what the circle on his tongue is meant to be. If it was modern, I might say a Polo mint, but maybe it's a wedding band as he is on the outside of a church.

I've used PhotoShop to give him an 'out of bounds' effect.
