40-40-in

We were all ready to go when the children started arriving (early of course). An action packed day followed - Alien Survival Mission and no-sew fleecey hats. Wide games round the Monument. Insect hunting with sweep nets.

We did get a few rumbles of thunder but no rain, although it did get quite muggy at one point. We also had a couple of tearful homesick Brownies but eventually they were all asleep - though one tent started again around 4.30am.

A good first day of camp.
