The Hunter Harry v.5
It's a picture perfect day here in NJ with a bright blue cloudless sky so I took a ride to Lenape and spotted a small heron, about two and a half feet high standing in the shallow waters of the pond.
There was lots of dragonfly activity, butterflies too and I enjoyed watching Harry v.5 eagle eye the water for small thin pink things. He nailed a few dragonflies, took a quick dip to cool off and generally tolerated me inching up on him for about an hour before he flew away. I think he's an innocent young one since the older herons would never let me get as close as I did.

Hope everyone has a wonderful Wednesday! I'm heading out to dinner - we're celebrating our 15th wedding anniversay tonight with our son Michael. I will catch up with everyone's journals as soon as I can!
