Memorial Day

We spent the day in St. Helens, it's been a while since we were last out here.  It's a nice town and has a pretty marina where I took this photo (the collection of mailboxes and the gathering of cleaning bottles in the house window were appealing to me) and others.  Being Memorial Day things were pretty quiet, as it should be.  Good to get out of Portland and a change of scenery.  Drove the long route home via Vernonia, another nice little town.  Had coffee and marionberry pie.

Hubby back down to California tomorrow, he's been more there than here these last three weeks.
