Wroxeter Roman City

Not a terribly exciting photo but that ruin at the back is about 2000 years old! I love learning about the Romans, such intuitive people. I'm actually standing in one of the swimming pools. The bricks in the foreground are a reconstruction of the underground heating system that would have been under the pool. Not too keen on their idea of communal toileting and sharing toilet 'brush' for wiping bottoms!

A busy day visiting Wroxeter (and seeing our friends Alison and Gary there - talk about coincidences), did the tubs for the summer, pressure washed the slabs at the front of the house and did some shopping.
