Bring Me Sunshine, In Your Smile....
Tuesday morning dawned bright and fresh.
The pond at the front of the door was slowly disappearing into a nice clay like mess. Birdies were singing in the branches, and there was a warmth in the air.
Because we are on the West Highland Way, Si and Tooli decided to don Rucksacks and walk a bit of it. I wasn't going to be doing any mental like that. I was going to roll on the floor in the tent, talk to birdies, and crochet.
Off they went, hand in hand skipping to their little hearts' content.
After a bit of me time, I headed off to collect them and waited for them at a lovely hotel 4 and a bit miles up the road. In they came. I loved the fact that Tooli was still wearing the rucksack. I like a man who keeps his troops under control.
The day carried on getting more and more lovely. After a late dinner, we wandered around the campsite, and stared at the orange glowing sky, and headed back to the tent for a late night game of cards.
When we finished, the sky had deepened, and the three of us headed to the beach. Tooli practised some skimming again, (she isn't that good at it), and we just stood in awe at the glory.
Lovely night to a lovely couple of days.
Please look at my back blips. :-)
