Funfair!

Nottingham appears to have converted its central square into a beach resort as part of the Nottingham Rivera 2012. It looked quite good fun, with a volleyball court in the middle and funfair rides. There were some good players while I was watching the volleyball (and some not-so-good ones too), and passed a pleasant few minutes.

The day was spent stuck in an office wishing I were outside in the lovely weather we've been having. Lots of calls today, and being on a customer site I took the opportunity to slope off outside to take a few of them - and was really nice to be out in the warm sun. Unfortunately there is a downside, and very little of the real work got done today... More than made up for by a great curry with a couple of colleagues this evening before heading to the 'Rivera'.
