Salty Sea Dog

Today we spent lots of time on the beach. Lots of fresh salty sea air. Nell got rather hot running around on the beach after the ball so Mike started throwing it into the water for her. At first she was a little reluctant to go in (especially after she got wiped out by a big wave) but soon realised how great she is at doggy paddle and that there was no competition for the ball as Charley will not do more than dip his paws in the water so she got tp have the ball every single time. It was a beautiful day and we had a picnic on the beach and sunbathed..

Toby and Logan have really hit it off. They seem to be on each others wave length, which doesn't always happen with Tobes. They just seem to get each other and it's so lovely to see as I worry lots about Toby as the teachers have said that at school he wants to play on his own a lot. 

It was a steep and sticky climb back up the cliff but the tiny path meant that even on a sunny bank holiday Monday the beach didn't get crowded. Back at Matt and Claire's the BBQ was lit and Terry and Wilma joined us along with M&C's friends Fro and Mel and their son. They did an amazing BBQ and we drank lots of fizz and sat outside till it went dark. Brilliant day.
