Yesterday, on my walk to the station, past the Cathedral Gate, I both noticed & noted the glorious Foxglove display, new blooming next to the Edith Cavell memorial, so returned this morning for photo's.
There is a another memorial to Edith outside The National Portrait Gallery, that Birgit & I visited yesterday. We talked about the inscription on that memorial " Patriotism is not enough, I must have hatred for nobody ". How very apt for today !.
