New Growth

Last Xmas, I bought myself ( again ), a wee tree, to keep growing in a pot, to replace the one I gave away, when moving.  I repotted it recently and gave it some good soil. Our recently deluges as kicked it into growth. These, to me, beautiful wee spikes, have not been jiggled (promise ). That is the colour. To give you a sense of scale, these 4 buds are smaller together than my thumb nail.

Blimey, it's cold again here 11degrees and grey !. But, at least we are not flooded !.
