Wonderful wandering weather

The best sort of www.

It's not often that the 'grim' north gets the best of the weather, but this week has been fabulous.
As I patently am very easily distracted I soon decided today was far too nice to be cooped up in the mancave, so I got the most urgent things done and then headed up onto the fell.

Taking it slow has never really been me or the pooch's first choice, but recently I've become appreciative of the weight of years Pushka's carrying. It took a while to accept that we'll no longer race around or go for miles on end, but fortunately, as with so much in life, it's not what you do, it's who you do it with. Pushka may now be slower, but the enthusiasm and joy are still there & clear to see - and if that means we need to stop and sit for a while every so far, then that's alright with me. We often pause and have a chat,  though I suspect P thinks we don't talk about biscuits and rabbits as much as we should.
