Sail Away
Got to my "office" for 8:30!! Nice to have the laptop to be able to work from home. G's oncologist wants her to see a cardiologist first to rule out anything to do with the heart first. Fortunately, he recommended a doctor who is situated in a hospital very close to us, so off we went for her 1pm appointment to Healthcare City.
Saw a very good doctor and after her consultation, he reckons it is not heart-related at all - which is a huge relief. Next thing is to see a neurologist.
G had a hair and nails appointment with Rosie (see extra) on the other side of town. Neither of them took too long, so we were able to stop off at the beach again. SO GLAD we did this! Firstly, there was the most pleasant breeze blowing - cool with no humidity. The waves were bigger than normal and I enjoyed taking lots of shots trying to get a good wave pic.
There was a lot of activity going on here (see other extra) and people even swimming. The most striking thing for me though - apart from the beautiful sunset, was how quickly the waves and the wind died down when the sun went below the horizon. Fascinating.
Home to another meal provided by Miriam's mum.
[3.6.16] I've caught up with May blips; but need to head to bed now as G has to be at a hospital across town for 7:30am for her brain MRI!
