Jedburgh Abbey

This is one of the 4 in the borders area of Scotland. The ruins are magnificent and we just managed to make it i before closing time. The first time I saw this we were not able to get in but the abbey was lit up with the late afternoon sun and glowed a beautiful golden color. This time we made it here early enough to tour the ruins , but the shot of the abbey looks quite dull (see extras) . The other extra is a detail of one of the processional doors leading into the church.
