Mum and Dad

Here they are, the old couple, he's 70 today. Whoa, so old!

What a day. I think it started with beer, and probably ended with beer, but I don't remember. Some bits in the middle I do.

Fabulous day, sunny. Swims in the morning. A suburb lunch from Lydia and the team at the resort. Crab, crayfish, and lots of presents (and wine)!

More swimming and mid-afternoon beers in the sea. The champagne on the deck at 5.30. Cloudy Bay Pelorus and Moet, smuggled in direct from NZ no loss.

Dinner and fia-fia night. SO good. SO much dancing, more wine, and even a fire performance. Fantastic!

Then the obligatory gins, and Cointreau, on the deck, along with ukulele sing-a-long. Who knows what time bed was. Sometime the next day, I think!
