Nu'utele Island

The island just off Lalomanu beach is a significant part of any stay, oh to nip across there and do some fishing. However, it's a littyle further than what you think, and you have to get out/back in the reef, which is no mean feat. I kayaked out once yesterday, and that was enough!

A day of recovery of sorts after the big celebrations yesterday. Some reading, swimming etc, then off on a trip, to To Sua trench. Fun place to go if you're ever in Samoa. We took some food and a few Vailimas, which we enjoyed the park like setting. Talked to the locals about fishing, lots of excitement, then scaled the ladder into the hole to swim.

Back to the resort, more swimming, dinner, and then an early'Ish night, for some. Well, me anyway, the rest carried on, singing, playing the Uke, and enjoying the deck and views from the fales!
