Wood pigeon

I'm not sure the wood pigeons in my area know they are supposed to live in the woods. Instead, they seem to spend all their time sitting in my garden collecting the spills from my bird feeders. When there are no small birds on the feeders spilling seed for them to feed on, they have been known to land on top of the feeders to make seeds dislodge and fall to the ground... a bit of self service, if you like.
