Wild Wind

[Back-blipping 04/06/16]

Continuing with the story from last Saturday...

G is getting totally fed up being at home. She's itching to get back to work, and particularly - DRIVING! Fortunately, she's smart enough to understand that is off the cards at the moment - at the very least - till she sees a neurologist, so looked at her timetable and worked out that she could cope with 2 hours in school today. The only detail to work out was how to get her there and back.

Now that I've got this laptop and can work from almost anywhere, I said I'd take her. We got there but a new starter to the team meant I had to physically be in the office, so her time was cut short slightly.

I made it in and worked to the end of the day. Took this picture as I walked down the ramp to catch a taxi... I thought it was breezy on the beach yesterday, but today the wind was definitely stronger. WILD even... (Cailleach). To be honest, when I took the shot, I didn't think about Wild Wednesday, but I think this qualifies. Always hard to convey just how strong the wind is blowing...

We went back to the oncologist for his referral to a neurologist. The appointment took longer to be confirmed than I had the patience for. I *may* have called them to follow-up one too many times!!! ;)

Think we had a quiet evening at home. G actually cooked dal and rice. Nice to eat home cooked food after what seems like an age! Oh, and not to forget, it is 1.6.16 and G beat us all. Again. Argh!
