Grey day

Disappointingly overcast and misty today after two whole days of lovely sunshine. This is the view slightly to the right of Saturday's blip - you can still see the farmhouse in the distance.

The tractor is being used by a team of workmen who are gathering and disposing of the leftover branches from the hurricanes of last winter. There were a lot of trees down in those storms - thankfully none of them hit the house - and no doubt they have been sawn up for firewood.

As for the pylon...well, like its cousin the wind turbine, it may be regarded as a thing of beauty or a blot on the landscape. What do you think?
