Lille Lungesgardsvann

Another beautiful day in Bergen.  This is a lake near the city centre surrounded by hills and museums.

The City Centre has grand thoroughfares, some fine buildings and plenty of statues, including one of Henrik Ibsen, which bore the same expression as I did, after seeing one of his plays.

I also enjoyed the wobbly, almost calm waters at 6am, a group of laburnum photographers, some daring street furniture thieves and a mournful singer in a band at a bar, to which we repaired after Doug and Amanda arrived.

I have been asked "what's the beer like?" The answer is that it is too early to say.
