Grasshopper, don't jump ...

... before I shoot! (It's no surprise ;)) I like macro photography very much. And especially picturing these small creatures in their natural habitat and behavior.

It's warm. The thermometer reads 30°C! So most of the day we looked for the shade.

I found a lot of insects in the field near the camp site. But they were all alert and quick (away). This grasshopper was my only lucky shot.

Due to M's birthday the field kitchen is closed. Our meal is being served this evening. We only have to try to find a suitable restaurant ... ;)
