Yurt Dwellers

Woke up after varying amounts of sleep (always thankful to be able to sleep like the dead) and took the opportunity to make another fire. Am I secretly a camper? Cooked up some magnificently smokey and very much chargrilled bacon and egg for breakfast and then we, very sadly, said goodbye to the yurt and hit the road. Not before taking a few band shots, obviously.

Straight to the Fletcher household for a lovely, relaxed lunch for family members who weren't quite up for the evening's entertainment. Added bonus of this was The Dad as a waiter for the afternoon. In a bow-tie. Be still, my heart.

Onto the final Super Hen event: an evening of bush craft and wild art on the grounds of Attingham Park (well, in some pretty dense forest close to Attingham Park, with bird-sized mosquitos for added effect). So much fun! There was fire-lighting with sticks, willow weaving, carving and printing, natural paints and some yummy food. Basically Forest School for grown ups. Super Hen seemed to approve.

What an absolutely amazing weekend to celebrate an absolutely amazing Super Hen.
