We made our way to Quito. By the time we arrived in the afternoon, there were only a couple of hours of daylight, so we wandered around the area we were staying. We ended up stumbling upon a great art exhibit. The artist painted, worked with mixed media (carving and painting), and made beautiful inlaid wood pieces. The inlaid wood pieces included desks, boxes and chests were incredible.
