Not a bee

We went up to the allotment and tried out the new (old, refurbished) shears that D bought at the Meadows yesterday - excellent action! Continued with the never-ending list of tasks.....it's beginning to look a bit tidier, at least in the beds where foodstuffs are actually growing. Nice to see Mr Fish, and wee Nina trundling up and down the track on her little bike.

I tried to get a photo of one of the numerous and various bumble bees that were humming and bumbling round in the comfrey - but with no success, so instead of blipping a comfrey flower with no bee I've gone for the broad beans. These are about 6 inches long. Not long now!
