Emergency Services

The sun was shining today (yay, it's been long enough!) and we headed down to the emergency services open day at the country park. There was loads there to see. P and A had a sit in the air ambulance, police van and blood bike. A couldn't wait to see the fire engine, but just as we approached it, it put on its lights and sped away! One of the fire fighters told us it had been called out to rescue a cow that was stuck in the river!

The highlight of the morning though was watching the helicopter. People could have a 5 minute ride for an eye watering £40 each, but we just enjoyed seeing it land and take off again when it flew right over the crowd.

P had her swimming lesson this afternoon and then Uncle B joined us for some roast pork for tea. All in all a successful Sunday.
