Birthday Surprise

We gathered the troops today for a surprise birthday lunch for my mum, as its soon her 60th birthday!

We all had a lovely time. The food was great and the pub we went to catered fantastically for children with both inside (right behind our table) and outside play areas.

A big helium ballon was placed on the table and a giant '60 today' badge was reluctantly worn. Mums face was a picture of sheer delight and panic when the cake came out and we all sang happy birthday to her!

This afternoon, to stop Mr J whinging anymore, I agreed he could get a new TV....we now need to get a new TV unit as it won't fit on the old one! Oops...
