U is for Up Underneath an Unnecessary Umbrella

Day 26 of July Challenge 2012 and we have reached the letter U for the second time.

Let me say that recently umbrellas have been almost essential up here! We haven't had the heat wave almost all of the rest of England has had.... Yesterday I finally picked up a tan and today we briefly had real sun :-) Temperature around 22C was perfect for wandering into Kendal to do chores including picking up my replacement digital camera (a £44 bargain from eBay with all it's accessories!). Look forward to taking some decent shots on it (this time it's insured against accidents.. Though son's new one wasn't and he dropped it 2 hours after buying it!)

PS yesterday's cow was almost life size and made of fibre glass!
