Santino

Had a great summer day!
We went to the carboot sale and hit the shops after that. Also had a look at the demolition site. The house ist still not completely down. But the light was not good for any more images. Need to go there in the evening.
After we dropped our stuff at home we walked to the street festival at Queen Margaret Drive. It was busy and loads of stuff for kids.
Two band were playing at either end of the street. One Reggae band, which was really good and a Ceilidh band. Not much dancing though, as it was so hot!
I finally could catch up with Santino again, who runs my favourite café there. (Smile Café) It used to be my second living rom, when I lived on top of it. But Santino mostly works at the second place they have opened in the City Centre, so I had not seen him for ages.
The weather was glorious and ice cream was sold out!
After that we went to the beer garden at the former Crossland Pub.
Then we went home and heated the BBQ in the garden. We grilled a massive T-Bone Steak, which was delicious!
Great finish to a lovely and relaxed day with a lot of sun!

The photo is Santino in the café. For anyone who comes to Glasgow, try their coffee and his cakes!
