Finding Nîmes

Fabulous whizz around Nîmes today! Actually, it was a stroll, not a whizz, as the temperature hit 32 degrees Celsius with no breeze. Haven't blipped the amphitheatre, as although it's the best preserved in France, it's not the most photogenic. Instead, here's a view from within the arena, and a shot of the Roman tower. The gardens and parkland around the tower were delightful: trees, flowers, birds, fountains, fish, dragonflies (sorry about the porn; it's the only time they're still, and even then, they're often at it in flight). I've included a blur of dragonfly that I kind of liked.
