Under the bridge

I led today's walk in sunshine and heat, fine along the canal but hard going up the hills. This is the view from under one of the Montgomery Canal bridges, a beautiful part of the canal as it's not navigable so wonderful for nature. 

It was great to hear lots of birdsong and we saw a red kite flying overhead. F saw a grass snake swimming into the reeds but sadly I missed it. That would have made a fantastic blip!
