Woolly Bear Caterpillar
We went for a walk (freezing cold - we were glad that we'd taken winter woollies).
This beautiful caterpillar was munching a plant close to the sea. I didn't recognise it but looked it up and it's called a Woolly Bear caterpillar, it's the caterpillar of the Garden Tiger Moth. I've not seen one for a long time and I read that it's numbers have dropped dramatically whichis a shame as they're beautiful.
