Kirkham Priory

Our last Yorkshire adventure was visiting Kirkham Priory in the village of Kirkham between York and Malton. As we are Kirkhams this was very exciting, I thought that we could maybe stake a claim but there's not much of it left standing so on balance we will leave it in the capable hands of English Heritage :)

Kirkham Priory is a ruined Augustinian priory which was originally founded in the 12th century. There is some information about it here.

We've now headed further south to catch up with family before our final adventure at the weekend (where there will be limited internet so I will backblip that next week).
