The Continental Divide
It looks like my portable WiFi device is working! This shot was taken at the top of Berthoud Pass where we always stop on our way to Granby. As you can see there is still quite a bit of snow at 11,300 feet but it was melting rapidly with little rivers flowing through the parking area. We arrived safely at our campground just after noon and pulled into a lovely site about 20 yards up from the lake. We got set up just in time to go inside and wait out a thunderstorm, which was fine because we were ready for lunch. By the time we finished the worst of the storm had passed but there was heavy wind so we relaxed inside for another hour or so. Then it was nice enough to go back out and start a fire. Now it's bedtime, it's been a long day. Getting Piper off our bed my take some doing, though!
I'll try to visit journals tomorrow. Good night for now!
