Flying over my House!

Piper and her dad and I were sitting on the deck this afternoon when we spotted this Bald Eagle in the distance.  It was making big circles and getting closer with each one until it was flying right over us.  I hated to leave to get my camera but it stayed so long that I thought I should.  Of course, by the time I came back out it was farther away again so this was my best shot out of the five I took before it was completely out of range.  In 28 years here, we've never seen an eagle fly over our house so we were thrilled.  Many thanks to Cailleach for hosting Wild Wednesdays....and to this lovely eagle for providing me with a blip on a busy day! :-)
