Multi Purpose

I had an irresistible urge to make something useful a few days ago. Here it is. 

You could just sit on this, but its main purpose is in the workshop to support a workpiece for sawing, drilling, or routing, without damaging the underlying surface. Of course, you have to carefully locate the workpiece relative to the gap!
